The Role of Dads and Partners
The birth mother and baby are often the centre of attention,
especially in hospital. But this is a tough time for partners too,
both physically and emotionally.
You are probably holding the family and the household
together on your own. It’s even tougher if you have to go to
work as well. Family and friends may also be worried about
mum and baby and anxious to know how they can help
without getting in the way.
It can ease the pressure if friends can bring a meal around,
