Read-a-thon
The Little Readers Read-a-thon
encourages parents and caregivers
to read to their premature or sick
babies during their hospital stay
and beyond. It is a way for parents
to provide a type of support to their
baby that only a parent can – reading
with their voice which is familiar and
soothing to their baby. By reading
to their baby each day, parents help
their baby’s developing brain. It’s a
simple yet meaningful way to nurture
their growth and connection from the
very beginning!
Walk for Prems
Walk for Prems is LLTF’s flagship fundraiser
held annually in locations across Australia.
Participants fundraise by seeking
sponsorship from family and friends to
ensure LLTF can continue to provide products,
programs and services. Walk for Prems is a fun
day for the whole family. The day includes:
• music and entertainment
• a celebration of premmies of all ages and a chance
to remember our angel babies
• opportunities to meet families going through
the same experiences
• raises awareness of premature birth
